School Fees and Contributions

Acounts for school fees are sent out regularly either by post or email and are payable at the College Office, posting in, or by automatic payment.

Attendance Dues

Attendance Dues are required to be paid under the terms of the Integration Act and are determined from time to time by the Proprietor and approved by the Minister of Education. Dues go into a Diocesan Common Fund, together with Attendance Dues from other schools in the Diocese and are used to service debt incurred in meeting Integration building costs.
Attendance Dues at time of writing:
Years 7 and 8: $138 per year (including GST)
Years 9 to 13: $276 per year (including GST).

There is a reduction for further members of the same family according to the following scale:
2 children, $10 reduction
3 children, $20 reduction
4th child, free

Diocesan Catholic Special Character Contribution

The Catholic Special Character Contribution is collected on behalf of the Catholic Education Office and is used to cover costs associated with the provision and delivery of professional development and advisory services in support of Catholic Special Character in Catholic secondary schools in the Diocese. The 2013 Catholic Special Character Contribution is $40 per annum per child. This financial contribution is tax deductible.

School Donation

This contribution is set by the Board of Trustees to contribute to the costs of purchase of sports and recreational equipment and administration; library; educational entertainment; subsidising travel for some class trips and for any other activity approved by the Board of Trustees. This financial contribution is a tax deductible donation.

The contribution at the time of writing is as follows:
One student from a family: $75.00
Two or more students from a family: $100.00

There is a donation of $5 per year, to meet the cost of materials for the Religious Education programme in the College. This financial contribution is a tax deductible donation.

School Diary for 2013 for each student is $13.00.
Students will be given an internet credit allowance for the year, and if this is exceeded by the student, there will be a small charge made for extra credit.

Please note that all school donations qualify for income tax rebates.

Insurance

The College’s insurance policies do not cover students’ possessions and parents are advised to ensure that their children’s belongings are covered by Family Household policies.

Miscellaneous Expenses

Students taking Art, Design, Electronic, Digital  and Food Technologies are required to pay for the costs of consumable materials used in these subjects. Other subjects such as Maths, English, History etc will have costs related to various workbooks.

Retreats, Field Trips, and other such activities may mean additional expenses at various times during the student’s education.
