Dear Parents Kia ora tatou It is with great pleasure that I announce that we will return to our site in Ferry Road at the beginning of term 3 on August 01. This is fantastic news for our whole community and I am sure will be greeted with much relief by you all. There is much to do and although we cannot use our administration block, there are enough rooms for us to be fully functioning as a school. Over the next few weeks a large amount of planning and work needs to be done to make a successful start to term 3.
As a consequence of our shift back we have made the following arrangements;
During each day in the holidays, we plan to have D4 open as a study space for our senior students - on a voluntary basis. We intend to have a parents’ meeting next Wednesday 13 July in the CCC gym Ferry Road at 6.30pm to explain and answer any questions about our move back, including start times for students and bus services to CCC. Please come along – this will also double as a second information evening for prospective 2012 students. We are excited to be coming home to Ferry Road and will work hard to ensure a smooth transition from STC to CCC. God bless Bruce Henley Principal 11/07/2011 |
