Principal's Personal Assistant and School Administrator - permanent position, advertised on Seek in July 2024

We are seeking an experienced Personal Assistant, who will be responsible for providing organisational and secretarial support to our Principal, and work closely with College staff and the Board, as well as external organisations.   The diverse array of responsibilities includes, but is not limited to, managing e-mails, staff and external communications, promotion of the College, student enrolments, administration and awards, and Board support.

The position is 40 hours per week, worked over the whole year;  or 40 hours per week during term-time, with additional negotiated school holiday work;  all hours are worked on site.  

Remuneration is based on the Support Staff in Schools’ Collective Agreement 2022 - 2024, Administration Grade 4, dependent upon skills, experience and qualifications.

The person appointed to this position will:

Relief Teachers

We are looking for qualified teachers to join our pool of day-to-day relief teachers to start immediately, all subjects.

Previous experience working in a Special Character school or kura is an advantage but not a prerequisite.

Teacher Aide for 2024 School Year | Advertised on Seek in July 2024

Catholic Cathedral College is a Special Character, co-educational college with over 500 students from Year 7 to Year 13, situated in central Christchurch. We are seeking an energetic, caring, organised and motivated Teacher Aide to join our team for the remainder of the 2024 school year, commencing in August 2024.

The successful candidate will support student learning and contribute positively to our school community. Experience working with students with learning differences would be an advantage, and the ability to provide clear and concise communications to students is required.

This is a fixed-term, part-time position, 20 hours per week, with work between the hours of 8.40am and 3pm (see details in our letter of introduction), term time only.

Employment Agreement: Support Staff in Schools Collective Agreement; Teacher Aide Grade B/C. The position is fixed-term for reasons of recruitment.
