CURRENT STAFF VACANCIES

Teacher of Mathematics - permanent, full-time position from the start of the 2026 school year:  advertised on Education Gazette in October 2025 - this role is no longer advertised as a Special Character position. All applications welcome. Applicants who have already submitted their applications for this role will be included. 

We are seeking a teacher to join our kura in a permanent role from the start of 2026.  See details in our letter of introduction below. 

Applications close:  at the end of day 14 November 2025

Bilingual Learning Support (Tigrinya or Amharic, and English) - fixed term position, term-time only, six to eight hours per week, from 28 January 2026 to 11 December 2026

Worked over three days, with hours of work to be negotiated with the successful candidate;  some flexibility is available.

The successful candidates will support student learning and contribute positively to our school community.

Relief Teachers

We are looking for qualified teachers to join our pool of day-to-day relief teachers to start immediately, all subjects.

Previous experience working in a Special Character school or kura is an advantage but not a prerequisite.

Must be available at short notice and readily able to be contacted by phone.
