We are seeking an experienced teacher to fill our SENCo position, to join our kura from the start of 2025, to meet identified learning support needs.
The Special Education Needs Co-ordinator role includes oversight of learners who have special education needs, which includes English language learners (ELLs). As this is a Special Character position, a willingness and ability to take part in religious instruction appropriate to the special character of the College shall be a condition of employment, as provided in the school’s integration agreement and Schedule 6, Clause 47 of the Education and Training Act 2020. An S47 form is required to be completed, and is included with the application documentation. However, we also welcome applications from teachers who are unable to meet the Special Character requirement; it will be assumed that if you do not include the s47 form with your application, then you are applying for the role in an untagged capacity.
