Early this week Alex Horn, Caleb Bryant, Joshua Bryant and Joshua Sutton had a fun filled two days climbing in the South Island Secondary School Climbing Tournament  at the YMCA Adventure Centre in Christchurch and they represented Catholic Cathedral College with pride. All our students were in composite teams and it was also the first time competing for Caleb, Alex and Joshua Bryant.  Joshua Sutton is our seasoned pro and he was a great help to our new comers especially since they are only in Year 7 & 8 competing against Year 9-13's.

Joshua Sutton was in a Shirley Boys composite team and they came 2nd in the Boys Category behind the Cashmere High School Boys team.  The fourth member of our Year 7 & 8 team was Evie Boyd from St Martins School and they came 3rd in the Mixed Team Category.  Fantastic effort and well done!
