Gemma Campbell, one of our Year 7 students, recently competed in Auckland at the Olympia Cheerleading competition. Gemma is a member of the Canterbury Allstars Pride Cheerleading team. Gemma’s team ‘SassyKatzs’ Level 2, brought home Gold and are the Grand Champions of their division, they also won a bid to go to the Global games in Hawaii in 2019. In November the whole club is off to Sydney to compete against Australia.

Gemma gives up her spare time after school 2 days a week, training for 7 hrs, leading up to competitions this can increase up to 12 hours.
