Open Your Door to the World, Join our Catholic Cathedral College Homestay Programme 

As our international student community grows, Catholic Cathedral College is excitingly launching our very own in-house, school-managed homestay programme. We are currently building our foundational network of host families, and we invite you to be a part of this special new chapter.

Hosting an international student is an incredibly rewarding experience for your entire household. It brings vibrant new cultures into your home, creates lifelong global friendships, and allows your family to share the unique Kiwi way of life with a young person from aboard.

Whether you are an existing school family or part of our wider Christchurch community, we would love to hear from you as we grow our local hosting network.

We are looking for whānau who:

• Live in or around Christchurch with easy access to school bus or public transport routes.
• Can provide a warm, comfortable bedroom equipped with a bed, desk, adequate heating, and storage.
• Offer a caring, safe, and supportive home environment where a young person can thrive.

What we offer: We provide close, hands-on support from our school international team and competitive reimbursement rates of $370 per week, paid fortnightly to cover full board.
