Last term Catholic Cathedral College entered two pieces in the regional Sheilah Winn Shakespeare Competition, held at Hornby High School. One five-minute student directed scene from the comedy ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’ and a fifteen-minute teacher directed scene from Shakespeare’s bloodiest tragedy, Titus Andronicus.
Our students commanded the attention of both the judges and audience, displaying initiative and originality in these often demanding roles.
We came away with the following awards:

Most Gruesome Scene - Titus Andronicus
Best Teacher Directed Piece - Ms Days
Best Student Directed Piece - Blair Stevenson, Briana Coppell
Most Promising Actor - Blair Stevenson
