This week Catholic Cathedral College had the very special privilege of having King Kapisi, New Zealand recording artist, come and speak to a group of our tamariki. Kapisi spoke about his journey to success and some of the life lessons that he has learnt along the way. He stressed the idea that once you stop training, whether that be in reading, writing or sports, you’re finished. He talked about the importance of caring for ones parents and valuing whānau. A picture was snapped for his instagram and he was off to his next appointment, as him and his wife lead a busy but productive life, sharing 26 jobs between them.
